Updates on Upcoming Releases

It's been awhile since I've checked in. Thought I'd do a quick drive by for anyone wondering about the latest updates on my books... or life. It's all about juggling projects just now so that make life interesting and time crammed. Deadlines are plentiful. Not that I'm complaining.

* I just researched, wrote and submitted the synopsis for my novella in the Christmas Anthology that will be coming out in 2013. A Harlequin Nocturne project I'm thrilled to be collaborating with amazing authors (and my dear friends) Heather Graham and Kathleen Pickering. Stay tuned for updates!

* Presently revising the second book in the Cupcake Lovers Novel series--THE TROUBLE WITH LOVE (coming March 2013 from St Martin's Press). Hard work, but worth the effort. This story is going to sing!

*Presently writing the first draft of the second book in my steampunk series--The Glorious Victorious Darcys. HIS CLOCKWORK CANARY, (a project for NAL/Penguin) is scheduled for release June…

By Jiminy, it's a KrakenWhip!

Ah, the wonders of the Internet. You never know what you're going to trip upon or who might trip upon you! Someone recently commented to one of my blog posts--the post featuring the cover art for my upcoming steampunk romance, HER SKY COWBOY. That some one was Kristin Gallup, costume designer at KrakenWhip. Kristin wrote...

"Wow! The skirt the chick is wearing is one of my pieces! https://www.etsy.com/transaction/72786535?transaction_id=72786535  It's so cool to see it on a book!"

Curious, I followed her link, and, wow! Sure looks like the same skirt to me. How cool! Scroll down to compare.

I don't know about you, but I love fun clothes. Unique clothes. And upon occasion I attend event/parties that require/encourage costumes. I now have my eye on one of KrakenWhip's bustle skirts for obvious reason. ;) Please do hop over and check out Kristin's awesome collection at Etsy.  A whimsical delight!

As always life is hectic. But wonderful.

First of all, thank you to all who bid on the items I donated to Brenda Novak's auction to benefit Juvenile Diabetes research. Your generosity warms my heart!

And now, a few random thoughts...

What I'm reading: An intense and wonderful story by my former writing partner and good friend, Cynthia Valero. I have no doubt that--soon--this amazing fantasy will entice a major publisher and enthrall readers.

What I'm watching: I just watched the movie "Snow White and the Huntsman". I enjoyed it even more than I first realized because it stayed with me. And I want to see it again. Dark. Intense. Enchanting.

What I'm anticipating: The release of my sister's first published story--Chasing Fate. Coming in August from Elle J. Rossi.

What has me smiling really big and holding back a silly squeal of joy:
While googling myself (sounds more fun than it is), I came across a thrill. As most of you know I'm writing a new series--Cupc…
