Support the Arts... One Deserving Artist at a Time

I've been mesmerized by the avalanche of publishing news this week.

Thriller writer, Barry Eisler walks away from a half-a-million deal with a major NYC publisher to fly solo. Read about it here.   

After earning a million on her own, E-book wonderkid, Amanda Hocking signs a four book deal with St. Martin's Press for two million dollars. Read about it here.

New York Times and USA Today best-selling author, Connie Brockway, rejects major NYC deal to 'go rogue'. Another indi author (although traditionally established) is born. Read about it here.

Future Projects and a Vintage Feature

Hard to believe it's mid-March. This year is flying by and I predict the upcoming months will also be one big honking blur. I'm writing like a madwoman. Working hard on the first book in my new series THE CUPCAKE CLUB, and simmering on the first book of my other new series THE GLORIOUS VICTORIOUS DARCYS. Once I turn in CUPCAKE #1 (Title to be determined), I'll launch right into DARCY #1 (which I call AMELIA). Meanwhile, I'm still working a full time dayjob, so time is tight. Crammed in there somewhere, in April to be exact, is the Romantic Times Convention in LA and then in July, the Romance Writers of America Conference in NYC. Looking forward to attending both cons. More on those later.
