Meet Nia

I missed Topical Tuesday, so we'll call this Whirlwind Wednesday. I'm up in NY for a family wedding. Will be here for the next couple of days. A joyous event although I wish the weather were a little nicer. Gloomy and COLD. It's Spring for goodness sake!
In between festivities, I'm working on the new book and also preparing for the Romantic Times Convention--or at least trying. More on that next week!

In other news, in a moment of insanity, mostly mine, Steve and I adopted a new puppy from our local Humane Society. She's, approximately 7 mths, super sweet, but also a bundle of energy. She needs a lot of attention and training. On the upside, she's quite smart and attentive. It's a bit of an adjustment for everyone (she tends to drive Cheyenne, our other dog, and Sadie, our cat, a bit batty at times) but it's getting easier every day. We still miss Billie terribly, but we're grateful for the joy our new fur-kid brings into our lives.

Gotta run for now, but I'll leave you with some pictures. *drum roll please* Meet Nia!

Nia is beautiful, and once she settles into the family, and gains some weight, she going to be even more gorgeous. It's nice you and Steve got her, and it won't be long until she's one of the family.
Good move.

Good on you for rescuing her.

Thank you, ladies! Nia certainly is a happy pup and she's growing on us (and Cheyenne) day by day. It helps that she's smart and is learning better manners as we work with her. :)

Sharon, you're right. Nia will be even more lovely when she fills out a bit. She's awfully lean. I think she runs off everything she eats. LOL
