Must. Have.

If you've read either or both of the first two books in The Chameleon Chronicles, you know Evie and Arch are movie fanatics. I'm currently nose-to-the-grindstone on book three and tonight in my research on 80s movies I came across this super cool piece of merchandise.
I am soooo tempted. It's from one of my all-time favorite movies. My writing room is full of eclectic stuff. This would so fit in.
You do know the movie, don't you?

I love that movie, can't believe I missed it this Christmas but usually catch it in one of it's dozens of repeats on TNT (they did do the marathon this year right?).

Oh and if you think that perhaps the lamp is too much there is the string of novelty lights with the mini lamp. You should see some of the gear they have at www.redriderleglamps.com

"A red rider beebee gun with a compas and stock and this thing that tells time."

A classic and one of my favourites too. *G*

Yes, Cynthia. TNT did their marathon. I managed to only watch it twice this year. Heh.

Okay. So you KNOW I had to visit the site you mentioned. Their all sold out of the desk lamp!! Oh, noooo. Although it was $10 cheaper at the place I first saw it. That said, those string lights are looking pretty good. ;) Decisions, decisions.

Excellent quote, feyrhi!! How about this one? Just after the 'prize' arrives in it's box.

[Mr. Parker reads a side of the box with the prize that he won]
Mr. Parker: Fra-gee-lay. That must be Italian.
Mrs. Parker: Uh, I think that says FRAGILE, dear.
Mr. Parker: Oh, yeah.

Hee!

Ralphie: "It's a g-- d--- commercial!"

Here you can find a 40" and a 20" version of the lamp:

Hi Beth,
I discovered your amazing writing ability when a friend let me borrow "All About Evie". I loved it!!! After reading it, I visited your website and saw that you were in the middle of book 2 "Everybody Loves Evie". I bought "All About Evie" (so I would have my own copy) and pre-ordered "Everybody Loves Evie" from Amazon back in October or November. I received it yesterday, finished the book last night and am reading it again today! I seriously hope there is a book 3!
I love Evie's adventures and her relationship with Arch! Hopefully, we can delve deeper into Chameleon and Milo Beckett. Maybe we'll also find out who the "Kate" is that calls Arch on his private cell. Will Evie and Arch be permanent? I guess only you know the answer to that!
You are a wonderful writer and a breath of fresh air when it comes to your imagination! Keep up the great work!

Wow. What a way to spice up my afternoon! Thank you for your kind words, Judy Blue Eyes. I'm speechless. Well, not quite. But certainly at a loss for appropriate words to express my... joy.

So thrilled that you are enjoying Evie's adventures and, yes, there is a third book. EVIE EVER AFTER. I'm writing it right now. More of Evie and Arch and Milo. Let's just say lots of secrets will be revealed. :)

Thank you again and don't be a stranger here!
